TUM update!

I have decided that this is going to be all jumbled up - a bit like our TUM group at the moment!  We are all, it seems, on seperate journeys!  I am hoping that soon TUM will be what binds us all together again!  I need it, I am sure the others do to!

I will say that I am feeling very GUILTY about not posting.  I really have let Mariette down.  You have kept us bound together Mariette and will never realise how much that meant to me.  Thank you!

First up is Mariette's take on WOMEN!  I love it!  Such an emotive take.  In her words she was looking for something that tells us apart from men - I know that there are men too who love wearing nail polish but it is a very personal and feminine act.  I love my toe nails painted but can also go for long times without it.  Lance doesn't like that!  He's a foot man and can always tell me about shoes and nail colour a woman was wearing as it is what he sees first!  It makes me laugh, Christine know's this so always makes sure her nails are painted if she knows she is seeing him!  I asked her if she knew she was seeing a boob man would she make sure she put a sexy bra on are we are in stitches!

As women we need our friends - we all need to find that stitching that binds us!  BUT we also all understand when it comes undone!  So to us all, no GUILT!

I was going through emails and am not sure when I missed this but it is such a lovely take, well done Mariette.  You, like me are into our prime lenses I see!  Aaaah back again!  This was for PLANTS - I think I am almost up to date - I had this confused due to my loving husband!)

Mariette, has such a lovely eye and such a wicked sense of not taking our theme literally.  Here is her TYPE - a chemical experiment done at Maxines birthday party - catch up on the blog post - it is well worth the visit!  Cool Mom!

I told you so, this is Mariette's crafty take.  In Mariette's words, "my poor  beloved doggie Jessi. She’s been poorly, and is currently on anti-biotics for a bladder infection. Not that Jessi minds AT ALL ……. I am pretty crafty, hiding the tablets in toast twice a day (buttered toast being her favourite treat!)

For my CRAFTY take!  I ordered some marshmallow wool which is really soft and full of pom poms!  I knitted Mia a lovely WARM blanket for winter - no way will she get cold with this!  It's lovely and big and heavy and soft and fluffy!

Told you this would be all over the place - here is my CREATURES!  Taken on a long cliff and beach walk - I really would like to do the Wales Coast Path!  Need to map out areas and get cracking don't I - 871 miles I think!  It is the most beautiful place on earth.

Pam is back - I think after her rest although things sound chaotic still, she has been sent to give Mariette a rest and bind us altogether again!  Thank you Pam, so glad to have you back and so pleased that you are listening to what we needed!  Here is Pam's CREATURE!

For TYPE - I wanted to focus on different type faces - I seem to take a lot of printer tray, typewriter images in my travel and turned to the side of my desk and saw this album.  It was lovely to pick it up and page through the album put together for a scrapbooking weekend.  In this themed album I had focussed on my friends, a page for each with a story that bound us together - it's so good to have a record about special little things - PAM - the tree story needs to make it into there!  Send me a lovely up to date photo of you so I can fill another page . . .  Mariette I have a lovely photo of you but I am waiting for us to meet in person to finish the type!  Thank you to all my friends for making me the TYPE of person I am today!

Pam's take for WOMEN - I love this shot - it's women keeping women young, it's women teaching woman grace and showing love - really strong emotive image, well done Pam!

This is a wierd take but this is my WOMEN photo.  It is a photo taken in the museum at the enamel factory of Schindler's in Krakow, Poland.  The first room you go into is very atmospheric and full of photo's on the wall, the next room has photo albums and slide shows.  This is a photo of one of the slides.  I need to investigate more where they were from and who took them but for me it was really strange to be seeing what someone else had seen before and had taken before me.  What did we see in common in this image? What saved these women?

The Jewish population was first confined to a ghetto and later murdered or sent to concentration camps, including Płaszów and Auschwitz in Oświęcim.[47] Roman Polanski, the film director, is a survivor of the Ghetto, while Oskar Schindler, the German businessman portrayed in the Steven Spielberg film Schindler's List, selected employees from the Ghetto to work in his enamelware plant (Deutsche Emailwaren Fabrik, or Emalia for short), thus saving them from the camps.[48][49] Kraków remained relatively undamaged at the end of World War II,[50] sparing most of the city's historical and architectural legacy.
The past week has changed my families life forever.  It has been an emotional roller-coaster but has left me with an enormous feeling of FREEDOM!  Is that not how we should all feel?  I am FREE!  I am not allowing anything to hold me back.  I am dealing with parts of my history that I never thought I would be able to.  I have no secrets, I have no fears of what people think because it doesn't really matter what people think.  There is a bond between people and families that no matter what we do or say if the bond is meant to be there it will be - I am not saying things need to be taken for granted - not at all - what I am saying is that we need to embrace who we are and how far we have come.  If we can do those two things we will be ready for what is ahead of us. We would be at a stage that we love who we are or recognise things that we don't love so much and be ready to do something about those things.  Once we can forgive ourselves and love ourselves we have forgiveness for those around us and so much love that . . . we are FREE!

I am loving my daily swim, I am loving the fact that I have an awesome doctor and think we may finally be on the right track - let's hope this week's bloods reveal we are right.  I can then physically do something about always being tired and give my body the nourishment that is obviously needs!

I know I am missing a picture or two - but bear with me . . . my flower shot will be up soon!

Here goes with Mariette's creature - facinating!

Finally my Orchard - that is why I couldn't find it!  For PLANT I took these and was really late so asked Lance to download them and send them to me to forward on to TUM partners - His email was titled ORCHARD!

All TUM'd and up to date - looking forward to having us all in the fold soon and to seeing everyone's updates!
