My only excuse is that since I was off work for a month with horrible upper right quadrant pain and discomfort I have been really TIRED! I just want to sleep - it took me over a month to read a book - NO - haven't even picked up Mr Grey yet!
I went for my scan and was told that I don't have gallstones - so either the tea worked well and stonebreaker is a star or it was never that in the first place! What I was told was to make sure I go to the doctor in a week or two for the results as they are not happy with my liver! That reminds me I need to phone for an appointment!
So here goes - a TUM update for my partners in crime . . . in no particular order because I simply can't remember!
First up our ROADS (for those that viewed this a while ago and saw SUNSETS there is a previous blogpost with that update! I check on partners blogs to get me in the right order but it would appear (nudge) I wasn't the only one who was behind!)
Mariettes take - I see this on a daily basis and it is one of the things I LOVE about living here! Good take!
And in STARK contrast Linda's take - I DON'T miss this at all!
My take was not quite what I imagined but I loved the light - Skyla took this for me on my iPhone as I was driving - I actually wanted to take a section of the road when we were in a GREEN tree tunnel! I will do those images soon and get them up you will all be so jealous!
Somewhere inbetween we did WET - love this take of Brad - miss this little monster although he is not this little anymore! You have to read Linda's blog for her WET story! I reckon Mike should have actually thrown her in to see how she felt - joke!
Love Mariette's take - lovely colours - a simply beautiful life!
Skyla came down after a bath with wet hair - the hair was my initial thought but this WET back was just too tempting!
Next up we had GROWTH! I just loved this colour and to put it all in perspective it was taken in the sand dunes in Merthyr Mawr! We had gone for a picnic and Lance and Sky played like monkeys in the sand - When I found this, against all odds, it is a message for me that I can reverse my liver damage! No, it's not from drinking! Those that know me know that I don't do much of that, I simply cannot - now we know why!
Purloin, Mariette's kitten is growing in leaps and bounds - so lovely, so cute, so playful!
Linda's GROWTH picture has to touch our hearts though, Brad and Linda's mom grew this avo tree from a pip! What a lovely memory, what a lovely thing to remind you of how spectacular her life was! Inspirational . . . what GROWTH will we all leave behind?
Next up we had STILL LIFE! I love chimes and these are no exception - lovely capture Mariette!
I have been naughty and instead of shopping like normal people in normal shops I have been exploring EBay for some little photographic treasures! I bring you my almost MINT Box Brownie camera the only marks on it are the ones you see in this image near the flash contacts. This dates back to about 1947 and now it is in my hands! I want to know who owned it, who was captured on it! I have now ordered film and will be playing as soon as the sun comes out! AMAZING . . . delivery expected today of a lovely MAMIYA too!
And once again Linda's capture an inspiration from Rose! I really have very few possessions but those that are really special to me I want to share amongst the four girls! It is really hard to decide but labelling is such a clever idea! Then there can be no arguments as it is not actually them who get to decide! It is my wish and they have to live with it! For whatever the reasons, I sort of know who will get what but I think while I still have my whits about me I should write it down! Save the heartache . . .
I have a feeling that I have missed a week but will go back and check that I have down all the posts - thank you for popping by . . . (for a second time - I think I am up to date BUT I could be wrong again!)
Me
x
