Project 365 - BIG catch up!

Two weeks or fourteen days is a long time!  I know this is a terrible cheat but I am updating so that the guilt can subside!  A lot has happened in the last two weeks! I started my new job which is fabulous and exciting but also terrifying and daunting!  We travelled up to Matlock to see my wonderful Uncle Mike and Aunty Liz and met Evie, their new addition.  Well, Evie stole the show . . . here is her name tag - featured as it took me back to my roots . . . I started out as a Holloway!

Next to feature is  a clock - you know what I am like with clocks - this one would look MARVELOUS on my clock wall - I do hope that our new home has place for my clock wall . . .

Well, you see, the story goes like this . . . we are a happy APPLE family!  From iPhones to iPads and soon to be iMac's . . . and that goes for my wonderful extended family too!  Uncle Mike is amazing with technology and puts me to shame!

I told you we are a happy APPLE family!

I have one huge regret from our weekend away in Matlock and that is that I didn't capture any images of my lovely Aunt to share!  Sorry, Aunty Liz you will have to steal the show when we visit in the Summer!  I think we need to find a lovely big brimmed hat for you so that we can remake those beautiful images that Uncle Mike took some years ago!

In case you are wondering . . . this is my Uncle Mike, my dad's eldest brother who welcomed us with open arms and lots of love when we made contact after over forty years - yes, sadly most of my life!  Amazingly we have loads in common and it is an absolute pleasure to be with them.  I always say that a dose of Aunty Liz is like tonic to my soul as I can close my eyes and it is like being with my own Mom!  Aunty Liz also spoilt us rotten this trip - such good food, such a good break!

Evie stole our hearts!  Jessie has a lot to live up to!  Playing ball constantly with Evie was such a treat - she really knows what she wants!

We had a location trip to Cardiff Bay on Thursday - I was not at all inspired but this building is amazing - I really didn't do it justice!

I have been told that I look like Ivor Norvello's mother!  So I had to capture this statue of Ivor!

Out last stop was to the Sennedd and this oak work is something to behold!

Hope that I am forgiven and now considered up to date!
